Oil-immersed voltage regulator Oil-immersed self-cooling induction voltage regulator:

The induction voltage regulator can adjust the output voltage steplessly, smoothly and continuously under load. It is mainly used for motor and electrical appliance testing, electric furnace temperature control, rectifier equipment matching, generator excitation, etc. Oil-immersed voltage regulators are widely used in machinery manufacturing, chemical industry, textile, communications, military industry and other industries.

Features of oil-immersed voltage regulator:
1 No contact adjustment, long service life.
2 Suitable for various loads.
3 Strong overload capacity.

The oil-immersed voltage regulator is reliable in operation and easy to use and maintain. The working principle and structure of the induction voltage regulator are similar to the locked-rotor asynchronous motor, and the energy conversion relationship is similar to the autotransformer. By means of a transmission mechanism such as a hand wheel or a servo motor, it generates an angular displacement between the stator and the rotor, thereby changing the phase and amplitude relationship of the induced electromotive force between the stator winding and the rotor winding, so as to achieve the purpose of adjusting the output voltage. There are two types of induction voltage regulators: three-phase and single-phase.

Oil-immersed voltage regulator If the rotor position is changed, that is, the angle α is changed, the secondary output voltage U2 can be smoothly adjusted. The maximum and minimum values of the output voltage are single-phase induction voltage regulator structure and voltage regulation function similar to three-phase induction voltage regulator, but its stator and rotor are single-phase windings. Since the inductive voltage regulator has no sliding contacts, the operation is very reliable. However, it only rotates at an angle during the pressure regulation process, and does not continue to rotate, so the heat dissipation conditions are poor. Air cooling can be used for those with small capacity, and oil cooling is required for those with large capacity. The weight, excitation current and loss of the inductive voltage regulator are larger than the autotransformer.

Regulator Applications:
It is suitable for pressure regulating boxes (stations) in urban residential areas, as well as industrial users such as boilers and industrial furnaces that have different requirements for urban gas pressure. It can also be operated reliably because the oil-immersed voltage regulator has no sliding contacts. However, it only rotates at an angle during the pressure regulation process, and does not continue to rotate, so the heat dissipation conditions are poor. Air cooling can be used for those with small capacity, and oil cooling is required for those with large capacity. The weight, excitation current and loss of the oil-immersed voltage regulator are larger than the autotransformer.
