General Information:

EPTTR-E+ Automatic Transformer Turns Ratio Tester is used to measure the turns ratio or voltage ratio of power transformers and voltage transformers, and can meet the tests of transformer production, installation, operation, and power preventive test procedures.

Features:

Ø Equipped with a built-in three-phase precision inverter power supply, the instrument effectively eliminates harmonic interference from the mains supply, ensuring accurate measurements. Performance remains unaffected even when powered by a generator.

Ø The three-phase output voltage enables high-speed testing and allows measurement of phase-to-phase angles. It automatically identifies wiring groups 0–11. For rectifier transformers with multiple low-voltage windings, the turns ratio and 7.5° angular deviation can be measured without disconnecting the low-voltage side wiring.

Ø Suitable for a wide range of transformer types, with particular applicability to Z-type, rectifier, grounding, furnace, and phase-shifting transformers.

Ø Comprehensive protection features include reverse connection protection (HV/LV), inter-turn short-circuit protection, tap changer incomplete engagement protection, and full output short-circuit protection, ensuring enhanced instrument stability and reliability.

Ø With rated parameters entered, the instrument automatically measures turns ratio, error values, and tap positions. It accurately identifies tap positions even for asymmetrical tap changers, supporting up to 99 tap positions.

Ø The 7-inch high-brightness touchscreen color LCD remains clearly readable under strong light. The full touchscreen English interface.

Ø Equipped with a built-in printer, a USB port, and an optional RS232 interface, the instrument facilitates paperless data management and convenient file transfer.

Ø Housed in a rugged engineering plastic case, the instrument is cold-resistant, heat-resistant, sealed against moisture, and protected against drops and vibration – ideal for field testing in harsh environments.

Ø The excitation current test function provides an effective means of evaluating the balance of three-phase currents in the transformer.
