Principles of Electric Variac Voltage Regulators

The electric voltage regulator, also called electric variac is composed of high-quality silicon steel sheet ring iron core, which is wound with a single voltage winding. Several carbon brushes installed on the brush holder closely match the polished surface of the coil under spring pressure. The motor drives the carbon brushes to slide on the polished surface of the coil for voltage adjustment. If automatic voltage regulation is required, a voltage value (a fixed point can be set at any time within the adjustment range) can be preset. The potentiometer can be adjusted to the required voltage point. The set voltage value can be observed through an external voltmeter. After the voltage value is set, the voltage regulator will automatically adjust to the set voltage. If the external voltage fluctuates, it can also automatically adjust the stable voltage.
